I have the honour to lay before you Ordinance No. 2 of 1856, entitled

"An Ordinance to amend the law relating to Bill of Lading", which passed the Legislative Council on the 10th ult. It has for its object to adopt in the colony an improvement in Commercial Law which has been recently made by Parliament.
